My first Chihuahua was at 20 years old for my early
21st present.
My mum and dad brought little Ella for me.
This was the beginning of everything.. Where Ella was not the
first or last lol.. But my passion became wildly alive with more
than one Chihuahua!
Over the years I discovered my second favourite breed.. And this
was the Miniature Schnauzer!..
My dogs are like Candy to me.. To my soul. And I love having lots
of dogs around me. My pack as I tell all!.. They make me whole.
So along came my Schnauzers which took me a long time to get
off reputable breeders hear in NZ.
Having my two favorite breeds is a blessing.. And that I can have
a small breeding program and enjoy the puppies which come
and go to the best of homes.
Best of homes - this is what I have to have and my babies.
I am dedicated to breeding sound, healthy puppies of
outstanding temperament, an enriched environment, and
extensive socialization as puppies.
All adults have their current eye Certificates clear off PRA, done
by Auckland Animal Eye Centre- Ophthalmic Examination
Certificate.
My love for my dogs and my breeding program is literally my life.
From dust till dawn I am out and about with them and my
children, I wouldn't have it any other way.
Our property is also safe and secure with security cameras
to protect my dogs.

The Chihuahua's history is convoluted, and many theories
surround the origin of the breed. Both folklore and
archaeological finds show that the breed has origins in Mexico.
The most common theory is that Chihuahua are descended
from the Techichi, a companion dog favored by the Toltec
civilization in Mexico. No records of the Techichi are available
before the 9th century, although dog pots from Colima, Mexico,
buried as part of the western Mexico shaft tomb tradition, which
date back to 300 BC, are thought to depict Techichis. The earlier
ancestors probably were present before the Mayas as dogs
approximating the Chihuahua are found in materials from the
Great Pyramid of Cholula, antedating 1530 and in the ruins of
Chichen Itza on the Yucatán Peninsula.[2] However, a genetic
study indicated that there was less than 2 percent pre-European
mitochondrial DNA in modern Chihuahuas due to admixture
with the European dogs
How long do Chihuahuas live? The Chihuahua lifespan is pretty
long -- as much as 17 years

Chihuahuas make good city dogs.
Chihuahuas are the ideal lovable, loyal and long-term pal. When
you’re alone in the house with a Chihuahua, you’re never alone,
they sleep on your lap, sit by your side, or follow you from room
to room while you do chores. When you’re not home, they
protect it like their personal domain, barking at the sign of any
approaching stranger
